The following is a dream. It was not in decent taste. But those who ACCEPT Partition of India, are not the decent lot, either.
So there is NO harm in narrating the dream to the whole world.
Today, on 26 January 2002, the "Republic Day" of India, I had the usual afternoon nap.
Yes, I had stared at the Map of India for a while, contemplating the outlines of the Republic before dozing off. I did look at the THREE fragments that were once ONE India.
But I was not prepared for the dream I saw.
Lady INDIA was sitting on a bench facing me. She was wearing a bikini of BHAGWA (saffron) colour.
The bikini was the shape of a triangle.
What are Bangladesh and Pakistan, were GREEN in colour. They seemed to be her two legs.
I must say I could see Mr. KR Narayanan's "Lady INDIA" only naval down. And that was the sight that shocked me.
I shouted, "SIT CROSS LEGGED LIKE A LADY!"
"Put your legs TOGETHER!", I shouted more loudly.
With my own loud cry I woke up.
