It is a FACT that if you live in a palace, you will think like a MAHARAJA. But if you prefer to live in a SWEEPERS' COLONY, then what does it show about your character?
You will speak, act, behave, dress and THINK like a sweeper.
While the rulers and masters of India in 1947, eg., Mountbatten, Nehru and Jinnah lived in palatial mansions and ate and drank well, the top HINDU was an emaciated lean fellow, so stricken with INFERIORITY COMPLEX and COWARDICE that he felt at east in a Sweepers' Colony and at east among the menial workers.
So when they pushed the living skeleton called Mahatma to speak to Lords, Nawabs and Maharajas, he just did what servants do. Wetted his langoti when Jinnah thundered, "CONCEDE PAKISTAN, YOU LITTLE NAKED MOUSE, OR THRE WILL BE GENERAL MASSACRE OF HINDUS LIKE THAT IN NOAKHALI"
The Mahatam "shat". All the Rajputs, Sikhs, Marathas, Tamils and Gurkhas were DEGRADED overnight and the BANDIT took over the fragment that fell to the Hindus. He ordered everyone to call it INDIA.
Read what the Mahatma said:
"My creed of non-violence is an extremely active force. It has no room for cowardice or even weakness. There is hope for a violent man to be some day non-violent, but there is none for a coward. I have, therefore, said more than once.....that if we do not know how to defend ourselves, our women and our places of worship by the force of sufferings, i.e., non-violence, we must, if we are men, be at least able to defend all these by fighting.Mahatma Gandhi, Young India, 16 June 1927".
But when India stood at the decisive battlefield of KURUKSHETRA, the top leader (MK Gandhi) shouted, "SURRENDER LAHORE AND EAST BENGAL. RUN FOR LIFE."
