..........THE LION OF HINDUSTAN: SHRI GOPAL GODSE.
THOSE WHO STAND UP FOR SECULARISM AND FREEDOMS OF MAN, ARE "LIONS" JUST LIKE GEORGE BUSH THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, WHO IS ABOUT TO BECOME A GREAT HERO AFTER HE DEFEATS IRAQ BY USING GUNS.
IT IS A SAD REFLECTION ON HINDU PATRIOTISM AND MANHOOD THAT WHEN THE MUSLIMS ATTACKED INDIA TO TAKE OUT PAKISTAN, THE HINDUS DID NOT LYNCH EVERY CONGRESS MAN AND WOMAN IN LAND, INCLUDING BANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU AND COWARDLY "MOUSE" CALLED mAHATMA gANDHI.
The despicable NRI's who go to attend glittering Sarkari Conferences do not bother to travel to PUNE to pay homage to this great warrior son of India.
Instead they are privileged to find themselves touching the feet of Italian born BRAT of BOFORS CHOR and to see ABDUL KALAM the Pakistani masquerading as secular Musslaa (MUSLIM).
This is the account of Shri Gopal Godse that will move any patrotic heart. For him NO Honour and Award and NO invitation from Rashtrapati Bhawan.
When will the HINDUS rise and make a chutney of Sonia KHAN and Abdul KALAM who have not yet left India for their own homelands.
They need not stay on trying to "save" the Hindus from the Devil and the Hell, OR CIVILISE THEM.

He lives in a small one-bedroom apartment on a busy crowded street in Pune. Age seems to have affected his body, (he is frail and thin), but definitely not his mind and spirit. Through a weak voice he talks and when he does, he holds the listener spellbound, not with charisma or a control of the language, but with deep-rooted knowledge, strong convictions that have the power to rivet.
Gopal Godse, 82, talks about his brother, Nathuram who is known for assassinating the most famous man of the 20th century, and about his feelings on the issue and about the 'impotence of Hindus'. He climbs up and down his bed in the hall with ease. There are no arthritic bones here, just a desire to refer to the huge collection of books to make a point.
So how does it feel to be the brother of the man who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi? There's no remorse here. Instead, there's a conviction that what was done, was for the benefit of the country. Says Godse, 'Gandhi's death was not something that was done on a whim or a passing fancy. Nor was it an individual act. First of all, you must understand the events that led to Gandhi's death. 'The country was partitioned and Pakistan was formed on the basis of Islam.
But what about India? No, we were not about to have a country that had Hinduism as its roots. 'After all, we were a tolerant people, weren't we? When Pakistan wanted a cash settlement of Rs 55 crore, the then home minister, Sardar Vallabhai Patel refused, saying that this would happen only if the aggression in Kashmir stopped. This was the best way to deal with the problem facing us at the time.
'But what did Gandhi do? He blackmailed the government into giving in to their demands. He said that he would fast unto death, if India did not settle the cash payment. 'In those days, Nathu used to edit a paper that was pro-Hindutva. When he read the news on the ticker, he realised hat this was going to be disastrous for the country. When a legitimate government has taken a hard stance, who was Gandhi to force it into giving in? 'And that was the beginning of a problem that has not yet been solved.
Kashmir is still being victimised by terrorism, thanks to Pakistan. At that moment, Nathuram and some of us decided that Gandhi had to be eliminated, even if it meant death for us. 'This decision was not taken as an emotional one, or in the heat of the moment. Madanlal Pahwa, Vishnu Karkare, Digamber Badge, Shanker Kistaiya, Narayan Apte, myself and of course, Nathuram decided that we must do something. We had resolved that we would not leave a job half done.
Come what may, we would complete the assassination.
'So on January 20, 1948, we all went to Gandhi's prayer ground. Here, Pahwa exploded a bomb at the entrance of Gandhi's prayer ground. The police succeeded in arresting Pahwa, who was a refugee from Pakistan and was witness to the 'Azaadi ka Tohfa' train that Pakistanis sent to India.
We ran away, but our determination was very firm. We had to do away with Gandhi. So, Nathuram took it upon himself. 'Our aim in those days was to catch Gandhi, before the police caught us. Nathuram managed to get an automatic pistol from Dr Dattatrey Parchure from Gwalior, though he was not a part of the conspiracy, and was later released by the High Court.
'On January 30, ten days later, Nathuram went where Gandhi was to hold his prayer meeting. He went round the garden and as Gandhi was climbing up the stairs, Nathuram went up to him. He must have been about 13 to 15 inches away. 'He would have shot, but could not as the girl that Gandhi leaned on was too close and she could get shot. Nathu pushed that girl aside and fired the shots. Gandhi let out an exclamation of pain and fell. 'This is contrary to the belief that he said 'Hey Ram'. This was Nehru's ploy to show him as someone pristine pure. It simply is not possible for any human being to say anything at that moment. 'It was too quick. This was an automatic pistol and the three shots were fired with a single pull of the trigger. If at all Gandhi should have said anything, it should have been 'Hey Rahim'.
Why does he say that? After all Gandhi was the father of the nation who was responsible for mobilising our people to fight for freedom? When you say father of the nation, you should specify which nation. To me, I think he should have been called the father of Pakistan. How else do you explain his attitude? When King Hari Singh of Kashmir acceded to India, instead of accepting him, Gandhi sided with Sheikh Abdullah who only helped in provoking the Muslims and raised a rebellion in that State. 'Besides, there are also other people who fought for our freedom. Why do we not honour them just the same?
Do we even know the tortures Veer Savarkar went through? What Subhash Chandra Bose did?
Besides a cursory mention, our great heroes are forgotten. Only Gandhi is to be remembered. I am not denying the fact that he did do some great service to our country. But after a while, it all became a self-aggrandisement issue. This ahimsa that he propagated, what did it succeed in doing?
It was made out to be such a virtue that it succeeded in making all Hindus impotent. So Gandhi forced our government to pay money, so that our soldiers can be killed even 54 years after freedom. 'I didn't think that anything was going to come out of this summit. As a nation, we have had the experience of getting gains only to lose them again through useless
