Between the years 1902 and 1920, there were several occasions of conflict between the Government of India and the Sikhs.
Colonization Bill of 1907, the management of Khalsa College Amritsar, the Kamagata Maru episode of 1914, the Gadar and non-cooperation movements, the Rowalt agitation that resulted in the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy, and the imposition of Martial law in 1919 were the main episodes that had soured the Government-Sikh relations. The commitment of Sikhs to justice, their determination to get their rights, their strong brotherhood, and eagerness to serve the Panth was well illustrated by one incident during this period.
The Government of India acquired Gurdwara land from the Mahant of Rakab Ganj Sahib, Delhi, and demolished an old boundary wall in 1914. Little time later the Government paid Rs. 8000/- to the Mahant and also claimed possession of the garden within another sidewall. This wall too was razed to the ground. The Sikh community was shocked and justifiably apprehensive of the Government's intentions. Sikh leaders challenged the mahant's right to alienate the Gurdwara property, and threatened to launch a morcha (agitation). The Government quelled all peaceful protests.
Following the First World War, the matter was again taken up when Sardul Singh Caveeshar issued an appeal in the 'Akali' of Lahore of Sept. 2, 1920, "Wanted hundred martyrs to save gurdwaras". Within a fortnight, seven hundred offers with Sardul Singh's name at the top were received. It was then decided by the Central Sikh League to send volunteers to take forcible possession of the Rakab Ganj land. The Government realizing the gravity of the situation, restored the acquired land to a hastily formed body of Delhi Sikhs, declared to rebuild the 322 feet long demolished wall before Sardul Singh Caveeshar and volunteers reached Delhi, and thus avoided open confrontation with the Sikhs. Though the Government was able to stall this movement by its timely action, the Sikhs were now soon to storm the bastions that the Raj had so strenuously sought to protect.

An excellent historical vision based on well researched FACTS that tell us a lot about the Sikh SPIRIT not their leaders, scholars and ministers.
But why end the account up to British time? The real saga of our WASTEFUL sacrifices begins only with our INFERIOR “desi” Raj, when "BANDIT" Nehru took over PARTITIONED India from the British and then began to misrule half a BILLION Indians as their uncrowned brown skinned Imperial Lord. He won every election with hands down and then passed on his chair to his daughter.
Having unconditionally surrendered LAHORE to indigenous Mohammedans, he imposed his secularism with an iron hand on Amritsar.
We do not recall any Sikh scholar of note to have noticed this bogus and treacherous secularism. For it to be valid in Delhi, it HAD TO BE valid in Lahore, too. What we Sikhs then got was his “cow dung” brand secularism. “Bhangi” AMBEDKAR’s Constitution made it the “staple diet” for the whole of PARTITIONED India. Today the Chief Minister of East Punjab can’t even smell the STINK that Ambedkar spread far and wide.
Today our man on UNION Territory, son of a maharaja, who could and SHOULD have been ruling Punjab from LAORE, has sworn dog’s lohalty to that “Sikh KILLING” ruling political party of India. At the top of that political pyramid, we see, seated on golden throne, none else but the worthless Italian born import of BOFORS Chor.
We do not know of any Sikh Discussioin List that is prepared to PUBLISH such vital facts to raise awareness of its members. The community of Lions is truly in the hands of Sheep, Cows and Goats. We see little effect or impact of REHAT MARYADA on our glorious Sikh Panth whose gaze is kept fixed on trivia.
The queston, that begs an answers, is, "WHO WAS THE RULER AT THE TIME WHEN THE SIKHS HAD TO GO ON "MORCHA" OR GIVE COUNTLESS MARTYRS?"
Please do not waste time in beating about the bush or inventing great theories like Hindu pandits who are zero in Kashmir, East Bengal, Sindh and even Ayodhya. Thank God, we are still something in EAST Punjab.
Here is the answer to the above question: “Sikhs were killed when the Sultan, Emperor, Nawab, Viceroy, Governor, Mentor, Rashtramata, Rashtrapita and Rashtrapati were NON SIKIH, NON SIKH, NON SIKH.
Sir, the golden time you quote when 700 volunteered for martyrdom, is LONG DEAD.
We are being absorbed in the OCEAN OF LITHARGY, COWARDICE, NEUTRALITY and MATERIALISM, of which the supreme example was seen in 1946.
To give weight to demand for PAKISTAN, “All-India Muslim League” issued a directive to launch Direct Action on August 16, 1946.
They gave a call to SLAUGHTER the Hindus in one district called NOAKHALI.
While they expected some 300 Hindus to be slaughtered and 500 women abbucted and raped, IN THE EVENT, 3000 Hindus were killed in the most bestial manner imagineable, and 5000 Hindu girls and women thoroughtly degraded. It is to utmost DISCREDIT of Ambedkar, that his “Vidhan” does not mention the event which put his Broken Bharat on the downward spiral of violence.
“Direct Action” had a stunning effect on the Hindus and the result was seen just a year later.
The top HINDU leader, "mahatma" MK Gandhi, who has bequeathed his surname to every "chor and thug" at the top in India, gave a spirited call to his own followers, "RISE AND DEFEND AKHAND BHARAT."
He looked around. NOT ONE HINDU VOLUNTEERED. Not to look a (damn) FOOL, he dropped the idea at once, and promptly told the Muslim leader, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, "You can have all the TERRITORY where your Muslims are 51 % or more."
What THAT meant for the Sikhs (and Hindus), ought to have been published and printed in “Bhangi” AMBEDKAR‘S Constitution, and on all the Sikh (and HINDU) Discussion Lists, if not known to our “man on Union Territory.”
As per “The Tribune”, dated Jan 14, 05, Capt. Amarinder Singh declared at AJNALA, "Forget Anandpur Sahib Resolution."
(Amazing, that his audience at AJNALA, not far from Mukatsar, were so ignorant like cattle or cowardly like the goats, not to shout back, "That Resolution demanded just ONE MILLIONTH of sovereignty that your PARTY and President conceded to EAST BENGAL in 1947 and again in 1972.")

Where did he bring in the statue of "Bhangi" Ambedkar from, leaving ALL THE HEROES OF SIKH COMMUNITY?
If our “despicable political dogs” at the top go on honouring the ALIENS and neglecting our own Sikh heroes, the day will come when his State will be dotted with statues of “Mr. Clean, the BOFORS CHOR”, Sonia Khan, the Rashtramata, Bapu Gandhi, the Funk who collapsed before the onslaught on Akhand Bharat, and even Bandit Nehru who called the Sikhs a day after PARTITION, "bandits and terrorists", and decided to suppress them. His daughter then did the rest in June 1984.
If Capt Amarinder Singh could make a fool of all the readers of “The Tribune” that disappeared overnight from LOAHORE in 1947, then the Sikhs and even the Hindus of EAST Punjab are still like the cattle.
His promises of spreading IT in his state are like Indira Khan's slogan of "GAREEBI HATAO". While her subjects were slaves, God's Will came down to strike her (Halloween 1984) and the two other bogus GANDHIS (30 Jan 48 and 21 May 01 respectively).
What IT will he spread when nobody knows even his own e-mail address. (A copy of this would have gone there.) Let the world know the IGNORANCE and SLAVERY of the helpless Punjabis.
We expect him to shed the coat of sheep and MOVE HIS CAPITAL and BHAWAN to Patiala. He will look decent, ruling his East Punjab from there.
We ALSO expect him to choose FORTY (40) statues of those martyrs to be erected on our TERRITORY, and to throw this "Bhangi's" in the nearest river or lake, even send it to his own State where he was born. Do not DESECRATE and POLLUTE the "sacred DHARTI of Punjab" by importing and installing BOGUS sarkari stooges and Pandit Nehru's lickspittles.

READ AND COMPREHEND THE HISTORY OF PUNJAB.
ASK, "WHY ITS CAPITAL IS STILL ON UNION TERRITORY?"
PUT THE PUNJABIS IN LEAGUE WITH THE BRITISH AND THE AMERICANS, EVEN EAST BENGALIS, WHOSE SOVEREIGN FLAG FLIES IN NEW DELHI.
Surely there are many Sikhs still alive who can recall their mothers singing, “The GULAAB flower among all like the PUNJAB province among all!” (What PATRIOTIC nerve would beat in the ITALIAN bosom of Sonia Khan and “Pakistani” Abdul Kalam on hearing this today? Hence, dear Sikhs, GET READY for more martyrs!).
Today that ROSE is just one petal, as that PUNJAB is just one tiny fragment of its original size and body.
