First “Citizens in Action” training conference a smashing success
We held our first “Citizens in Action” conference last Saturday, September 13th, in Chino Hills, California. Nearly 200 people, some from as far away as Washington state, attended. Here’s what some of them said.
“I have seen many things and have been to many seminars and trainings in my life. This truly was the MOST IMPORTANT EVENT I think I have ever attended.”
Rodney
“Powerful! Inspiring! This training is a must for every Act member. Enhanced our passion with practical skills and direction.”
Carolyn, Chino Hills, CA
“The Citizens in Action Conference is a must for every American who loves this country. The conference is well planned and presented with excellence.”
Dean M., Palm Springs, CA
“Spending a day with one of my most revered heroes, Brigitte, and her associates Guy and Kelly, was truly thought-provoking, enlightening, awe-inspiring and humbling. Thank you for uplifting and empowering my heart, soul and resolve to act.”
Elizabeth, Mission Viejo, CA

YouTube no longer posting videos promoting terrorist violence
Jerry Gordon, our esteemed colleague and former ACT! for America board member, has for months been working behind the scenes with Joseph Shahda, our colleague who monitors terrorist websites, urging action that would force YouTube to remove videos that depict terrorist violence.
As part of that effort Jerry has been in regular contact with Senator Joe Lieberman’s office. Senator Lieberman sent a letter to Google/YouTube last May asking that such videos produced by al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations be pulled from the site.
We’re delighted to report that last Thursday, September 11th, Senator Lieberman’s office announced that YouTube had pulled the offending videos and would no longer allow such videos to be posted.
