Dear friends of noble Bharatiya origin, wish you all a very
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
None of us, honourable and proud as we are, can overlook the "mother" (Bharat Mata) whose sacred SOIL bore us and nourished us. Our mother is seriously ILL, beset with super human challenges and problems.
The THREE fundamental threats to Bharat Mata right now are SECURITY, PEACE and PROSPERITY. Let me devote a line or two to each.
1. SECURITY of India was disabled when we had "a Mahatma, a Fox and a Lion" sitting at the same table for Independence talks. The Mahatma, despite piety, moral superiority and all the patriotism, was "disembowelled". He LOST badly and disgracefully. We saw both mighty wings of India, that once stretched from KHYBER to CHITTAGONG, sliced off, with MILLIONS of citizens of our ancient Land of Great Wisdom and Civilisation put to flight. India "shrank" between Wagah and Hoogly. We should always keep this in mind that another "mother" ("Dharti Mata"), too, was betrayed. We ought to remind the Supreme Commander, whoever he or she is, to explain this continuously to the people at large. A strong nation is a well-informed nation.
2. Peace is only possible when everyone professes LOYALTY to the country and all her people. But if anyone reads a different script (a "holy" book) that insults the others using derogatory words like "Infidels" ("Kafirs") and wishes the country to be ruled by Koran or Sharia, then we have a serious problem that can cost Land and Lives. The new Constitution of Bharat must lay down firmly that all citizens take or sign an Oath of Loyalty to say that the country's Constitution is above any Holy Book in order to ensure a harmonious society. The result of not ensuring this will be another "Partition" in bloodshed.
3. Prosperity. Prosperity can come through individual initiatives, State encouragement, zero corruption and honest rulers dedicated to clean and efficient administration.

Wherever we live we are known as "Indians" or "people of Indian origin". Hence for the sake of our own "IMAGE" we need to raise the image of India (Bharat). Media reports about dynastic democracy, corruption, scams, red tape, nepotism, insurgency in Kashmir and RAPE, damage our image & reputation abroad.
