‘Give separate nation for Indian Muslims if you can’t let us set up Shariat courts’: Dy grand mufti of JK, real agenda revealed?

Just couple days back, the All Indian Muslim Personal Law Board had demanded that they wanted Shariat courts in every district of the country to handle matters related to Babri Masjid, Triple Talaq and Polygamy.. The move was outrightly opposed by the central government and BJP, which said in a democratic country like India, there cannot be religious based courts.
But now the Jammu and Kashmir’s Deputy Grand Mufti Nasir ul Islam has gone a step further to say that if the central government doesn’t allow them to build Shariat courts, they would want a separate country for the Indian Muslims. “Any resistance to this effort by the BJP means it doesn’t want Muslims to stay in India. In that case, we urge them to give us a separate nation,” he said. His statement has literally shocked the Nation and invited massive criticism from every corner of the country. Talking to reporters at a press conference in Srinagar in January, Nasir had said that Muslims in this country were facing harassment on a daily basis. He urged the Muslims to demand a separate nation as they were constantly being targeted by the right-wing forces on the pretext of love jihad, cow vigilantism or triple talaq (Times Now).
The JK Grand Mufti and the Dy Grand Mufti have always spoken against the Nation every time they have had the opportunity and taken the stance of Pakistan which is not new. But this time they have spelt out their hidden agenda openly demanding a separate nation for Muslims which has always been their objective. The violence, terror attacks and Article 370 are all a gimmick played by the same bunch of people whose real agenda is to separate Kashmir from India.
The so-called religious heads of the minority community want the Muslims to reject the democratic courts of India and chose Islamic Shariat courts. This is an indirect way of rejecting democracy and forcefully implementing Islamic rules in India. They are planning to run parallel courts in India which will only help them create a sense of division among the people. In Indian democracy, the courts and judiciary is considered the highest body and people are bound to respect and follow the decisions of the court. But by proposing Shariat courts, the AIMPLB has indirectly sent a message that they do not respect Indian constitution or the judiciary.
When the entire country is following one rule and one law, why do minorities of the country want different law? Why do they want different courts with a different set of rules specifically for them? Isn’t it time to question those people who take all benefits in India in the name of minority and then demand separate Nation for themselves?
The partition of India and Pakistan was done based on religious demands by Mohammed Ali Jinnah who believed that Muslims cannot live in India and wanted a separate country. So, today those people who are again asking for a separate nation for Muslims should remind themselves that India has already provided a portion of its land to Muslims, which is called Pakistan. If grand Mufti and his supporters feel they need separate Nation, they should simply move to Pakistan which was given to them 70 years back and stop asking for more land every time.
Such people who are trying to divide India and demean the Indian constitution should be sent out of the country as they have no regard or gratitude towards India which has provided them food and shelter all their life!
