Aurangzheb, weakened India so thoroughly that it laid her open to the marauders and predators from Europe. A house divided – along varnas and religious lines – was a house weakened for the European powers to start playing with India’s internal politics and slowly grab power.<
Aurangzeb was a foreigner himself, clearly because an earlier ruler had "laid India open to marauders". He used a non-Indian language in his administration and yet another one in his religion. By contrast, the meanest British soldier or official first had to learn "Hindustani" before coming to India.

True, but tell that to Muslims. Tell that in a mosque if you dare. Muslims are still dreaming of revenge for being "cheated" out of India.
