CHARACTER, COURAGE & SELF-CONFIDENCE MISSING
For the loss of four hundred lives in 1919 the natives built Jallianwala Bagh Memorial at Amritsar. East Punjab, Partitioned India.
But for the 1600 killed in June 1980 when the Indian army attacked Sri HarmandirSahib at Amritsar at the time of a major Gurpurb, there is no official or public Memorial.
Not all were “terrorists” even by Sarkari account and standard! There were innocent men, women and children and the very old pensioners in the congregation, celebrating the Gurpurb.
The Memorial, suitably called “Jallianwala Bagh 2” (or any other name!), will be built when the natives have character, courage and confidence.
At Halloween 1984 (31st October-3 November) there was widespread Sikh GENOCIDE in Delhi that claimed the lives of at least 4,000 innocent citizens. Hundreds more innocent Sikhs were killed elsewhere in India in addition to the 4,000 massacred in Delhi. Yet there is NO Memorial to their memory! The Memorial, suitably called Jallianwala Bagh 3 (or any other suitable name!), will be built when the cowardly natives have character and recover their courage and confidence.

PS: Throughout Unite Kingdom the last two days (5 and 6 June 2019) were devoted by the rulers, public, and the media alike, to the D-Day landings in Normandy in June 1944 under the slogan, “WE SHALL NEVER FORGET!”
In India some TWO MILLION innocent citizens were massacred at Partition in 1947. Yet there is NO memorial to the dead anywhere. From the Indian President down to the peon the slogan is “WE SHALL NEVER REMEMBER THEM”
The Memorial, suitably called “HINDU HOLOCAUST 1947” will be built when the nation has character and recovers courage and confidence.
