As often cruelty to women happens not only behind closed doors, but in the public square, we can only guess how this display affects both women and men. Sons see how their mothers are treated; this too doubtless informs their behaviour.

It is important not to assume that the members of British grooming gangs consider themselves jihadis entitled to capture non-Muslim girls. They do not even appear at all pious. But knowledge of such practices is likely to have some impact on Muslims coming from countries where some form of slavery or indentured servitude still exists.

Sadly, in the case of Britain's grooming gangs, religious ideology does not play a role in forbidding child sexual grooming. It is important to examine just how crucial a factor this seems to have been in community silence about them.

In the West, women's dress, behaviour, and rights to autonomy have been freed from religious control only in the 20th and 21st centuries, with the rise of the suffragettes, feminism and the availability of safe contraception. Pictured: Suffragettes on way to Boston, sometime between 1910 and 1915. (Image source: George Grantham Bain Collection, Library of Congress)

Men, after a certain age -- as nature seems to have intended to preserve the human race -- are often sexually attracted to women. Women, similarly, are often sexually attracted to men, even if many cultures try to keep that proclivity a closely-guarded secret.

Different cultures handle human sexuality in different ways, presumably to avoid the potential social disruption it could create. This control has traditionally been affected by religious doctrines, laws, and patriarchal priests, ministers, rabbis, muftis and other clergy. In the West, women's dress, behaviour, and rights to autonomy have been freed from religious control only in the 20th and 21st centuries, with the rise of the suffragettes, feminism and the availability of safe contraception.

Judaeo-Christian culture has involved restrictions of this kind, with monogamy enforced, adultery condemned, divorce often hard or sometimes impossible to obtain even for women suffering physical and psychological abuse, a lifetime of childbirth and nurturing, often while turning a blind eye to men's sexual independence. Changes that have taken place in Western culture for the past century are unlikely to undergo much reversal in the years to come. Most women today in the West dress as they choose, some modestly, others in inviting ways. Women insist on civil rights, play increasingly important roles in politics, business, the military, education, and all professions, and there are even female members of the clergy in many churches, such as the Anglican Church and the synagogues and temples of the Jewish Reform and Conservative movements.

This is the new, Western world in which immigrants from other cultures now live, some with relief, others too bewildered to find safe pathways through which to negotiate their way between our freedoms and their inherited assumptions about women, their place in society, and their sexuality. Nowhere is this dilemma sharper than between Muslim immigrants in the West and the democratic values they encounter.

In part, this is because traditional and current Islamic culture with regard to sexuality differs markedly from that of the West. As in the Judaeo-Christian universe, women are restricted and men are given superior rights, but Islam, both as a religion and a culture, has a very different set of rules and legal codes for relations between the sexes, both in the obvious ways (burqas, niqabs, and hijabs) and in less familiar concepts. It is possible that these differences that go far to explain why child sexual grooming gangs and the collective sexual harassment of women have taken hold in some places.

Here are a few of those differences. Shari'a law allows a man up to four wives, but women only one husband. Shari'a law also allows a man the right to have sexual relations with as many slave girls or concubines as he can afford (hence the sometimes massive harems kept by Muslim rulers, officials, and wealthy men). Shari'a law also allows a man the freedom to divorce a wife sometimes by as little as saying three times "I divorce you". The practice was outlawed in India only this year, and rights for divorce are much harder for a woman to exercise.

Shari'a law allows a man in Shi'i Islam the liberty of taking a temporary wife in mut'a ("pleasure") marriage in a contract for as short as an hour; and, in some places in Sunni Islam, to have a "traveller's wife" or wives in misyar marriage when travelling from home. To add to all this, men are granted houris (beautiful virgin companions) when they pass into eternal life, with some 70 reserved for martyrs. In one famous statement by a religious scholar, "the erection is eternal".[1]

To a certain type of Western man, this might seem to be sexual heaven: almost as many women as you want on a flexible basis. No alimony in case of divorce, automatic custody of children once they turn seven, no guilt. The 19th-century ruler of Iran, Fath-'Ali Shah (1769-1834), was famous for his long beard, his more than 1,000 wives, his 60 sons, his 55 daughters, and his royal family of over ten thousand by the mid-century.

Although Muslim men are, of course, no different from the rest of us, nevertheless, all the rules governing sexuality may be easily found in the learned tomes of Shari'a law, enforced by fatwas from jurisprudents, and enshrined in the judicial systems of more than one Islamic country in the present day. The result is the perpetuation of attitudes towards women that often appear to debase them and allow men to treat them with contempt.

The most painful modern examples of this contempt may be found in Muslim countries that carry out public floggings (see here, here and here) for offences such as "standing too close" to a man or for running away from husbands who beat them and stoning women to death, even for being raped (for example, here and here).

These take place in Sudan, Indonesia, Iran, in some Gulf States such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, in parts of Pakistan, the Maldives, and, of course, in areas controlled by the Islamic State.

As often cruelty to women happens not only behind closed doors, but in the public square, one can only guess how this display affects both women and men. Sons see how their mothers are treated; this too doubtless informs their behaviour.

In Iran, the use of sexual torture on women in prisons is the subject of a full-length study. Shadi Sadr and Shadi Amin's book, Crime and Impunity: Sexual Torture of Women in Islamic Republic Prisons details topics such as "Raping of Virgins before Execution", "Prison Marriages", "Rape of Prisoners" -- all backed by witness testimonies and case studies.

One cannot rule out the likelihood that even knowing of -- let alone witnessing -- such humiliation may have, in a way, energised Britain's child sexual grooming gangs.

A congruent practice found in some Arab states, notably Egypt, is another public spectacle that involves men watching women being chased, sexually abused, and raped. This is known as taharrush (harassment) or taharrush jama'i (mass harassment). Here is one description of what happens:

A group of Muslim men target a (non-Muslim) woman who is not wearing Hijab in a crowd, encircle her, sometimes singing, dancing and/or chanting, and push her companions, if any, out of the circle. The woman is caught off guard and at first thinks the Muslim men just want to sing and dance with her, until the circle closes around her, at which point more Muslim men join to form three layers that render the circle virtually impenetrable.

At that point, those in the inner layer rip off the woman's clothes, grope, beat, sexually assault and rape her while those in the second layer watch the assault take place, and those in the outer layer, who are too far away or too short to watch the assault, dissuade or fight off would-be rescuers, even telling them that they are just helping a woman in need.

It should be added that the woman need not be a non-Muslim. Many Muslim women are chased and handled in this way. The online journal Jadaliyya, published by the Beirut-based Arab Studies Institute, studied this activity as far back as 2013. The journal stated that, "In Egypt, sexual harassment is widespread and touches the lives of the majority of women whether on the streets, in public transportation, or at the work place, the super market, or political protests." The same article later declares:

"... one key argument in the victim-blaming that is salient in our everyday narratives is the common and vulgar perception that sexual harassment occurs when women dress 'provocatively.' In fact, the only thing that Egyptians who face sexual harassment have in common is that over ninety-nine percent of them are females."

It should not be surprising, then, that the sight of non-Muslim girls and women walking freely on European streets even in winter clothes has provoked large numbers of male refugees and migrants to engage in taharrush jama'i, starting with the assaults in Cologne and other German cities on New Year's Eve 2016. Cologne's police chief, Jürgen Mathies, declared:

"Many of the alleged attackers were from countries where this behaviour, where women are hemmed in and then abused by a large number of men at once. I must say that this phenomenon was not known to me in Germany before." [For his full statement in German, see here.]

By January 7, Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt) had already identified the assaults as a form of taharrush jama'i, and on June 7 their full report on the incidents made the same link.

At this point it is necessary, however painfully, to note that the common denominator in all these forms of harassment and abuse of women is that the men involved are all members of the same religious and cultural group. There are, of course, variations between countries and even parts of countries, specific groups, and many individuals. It would be totally inaccurate, wrong and invidious to say that all Muslim men share these characteristics, but it remains clear that hundreds of thousands, if not millions, (out of 1.8 billion) do. The problem has been exacerbated since the late 1970s and the Iranian Revolution by the shift away from secularism back towards religiosity. Even Turkey, which, under Atatürk and his successors, had been the most secular Muslim state, has now reverted to pious and radical Islamism.

Turkey's educational system now rears children and young people to become obedient Muslims instead of thinking adults.

One aspect of Shari'a law exists, however, that may well have a bearing on attitudes towards non-Muslim girls and women of all ages. This is the ruling that "captive women" (who are invariably non-Muslims: Jews, Christians, Yazidis, Hindus or others) taken in jihad wars may be made sex slaves, forcibly married, used as concubines, and bought and sold in the marketplace.[2]

It is important not to assume that the members of British grooming gangs consider themselves jihadis entitled to capture non-Muslim girls. They do not even appear at all pious. But knowledge of such practices (for example here, here, and here) is likely to have some impact on Muslims coming from countries where some form of slavery or indentured servitude still exists. In December 2014, Daniel Pipes identified Afghanistan, Mali, Mauritania, Oman, rural Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Yemen as Muslim-majority states holding on to enslavement, even despite some laws to ban the practice. World Atlas adds Iran and South Sudan to its list of countries with the highest prevalence of slaves in our era.

Sadly, in the case of Britain's grooming gangs, religious ideology does not play a role in forbidding child sexual grooming. It is important to examine, as we shall do in Part 3, just how crucial a factor this seems to have been in community silence about them.

What do the perpetrators say?
What difference does it make if one apologist thinks like this and another islamophobe thinks like that?
For the victims, it is all the same.
To stop the practice, there should be someone brave enough to stand up and tell the perpetrators that whatever you think your religion is OK with, you are still a subject of local laws.
You have seen that there are academic apologists who speak against accepting the Western mores and laws.
Hang them first. (a figure of speech, not to be taken literally)

You seem to be making an excuse for Islamic rapists; after all, it is permitted in their culture. But they are not in Islamic nations, and it is not acceptable behavior. There are laws that are not being implemented due to political correctness. This is not morally correct in European nations and those engaging in this behavior needs to be deported, not even imprisoned, for why should European taxpayers have to pay the board and room for these thousands of rapists in jails? There are over 50 predominantly Islamic nations. Why are these people coming West when the law for refugees is that they go to the nearest nation for safety, which is other Islamic nations. We have learned from Europe that they do not assimilate and create "no-go" zones. To give the idea that the behavior is only natural because of their culture is offensive to Westerners.

I don't see it as making an excuse, but of recognising that this is a different culture within our midst (an example of the negative side of multiculturalism) and providing the evidence for it. Migrants bring their cultures with them, and they have continued as many of those cultural practices as they have been allowed to get away with. Our establishment, politicians, media, and most commentators refuse to acknowledge that this cultural difference even exists and where it originates from. They cling to the mantra that they are not real Muslims (as if most of them are experts in Islamic doctrine and can decide who is and who is not a real Muslim), and that it is a small minority.

I am a Christian. When I wanted to know about Islam, I purchased and read, and am still reading the Koran. I realised there is a great difference between Christians and Moslems : so much so that I must consider myself an Islamophobe (that is, a person who has a fear of Islam). I do not say this to inflame hatred, merely to state that I found the writings in the Koran to be definitely against every person who is not Moslem, and indeed, Moslems themselves. Moslems are trapped in a catch-22 situation. This catch-22 situation must account for the extreme silence from Moslems living apart from Moslem countries. It behooves we westerners and of course our politicians to insist on instructing all new immigrants of our different ideology and our freedom from religion laws! Furthermore, as per the Koran, it is our duty to provide Moslems with any needs and desires they may want! Again, this is not migration; as per the Koran, this is a peaceful invasion -- hence "the religion of peace"! Every non-Moslem must read the Koran before we lose everything!

Robert Spencer, whose new book "the History of Jihad" notes, the right of indulgence upon non-Muslim females is very much condoned by the very text, the "Qur'an," that is considered the words of Allah which cannot be disputed or even discussed: "The Qur'an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take "captives of the right hand," 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur'an says: "O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." (33:59) The implication there is that if women do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused, and that such abuse would be justified." The great aspect of Mr. Spencer's opines and books is that he never states an opinion without providing sources. Not only in the UK does the Muslims of Pakistani heritage have to contend with rape of young girls as one only has to look at India and Pakistan itself where not only young girls (especially non-Muslim) are in constant danger but young boys are also targeted.

The most important thing to know about Islam is that it is not merely a religion, but a total civilization, that has dualistic ethics - one set of rules for treating Muslims, and one set of rules treating non-Muslims. Sha'ria is merely an extremely detailed manual on how to run such civilization.

According to the doctrine of Islam, it should govern every aspect of life, and not only its followers (Ummah) but also every aspect of life of those who don't follow it (Kuffar dubbed in the Qu'ran as "the worst of creatures").

This has wide and often extremely unpleasant implications anywhere where an Islamic civilization clashes with a non-Islamic civilization. Even this mass abuse of young Kuffar girls can be entirely justified based on the doctrine of Islam. While a Muslim is forbidden to cheat with another Muslim's wife, he's free to have sex with "those that his right hand possesses" thus non-Muslim women.

The horrendous cruelty of Islam, reflected in a huge number of the Koran's verses and in strict sharia law, has for long been laid bare in Britain and other European countries. What angers me is that the grooming gangs of Pakistani men (they are never named as such by the politically INcorrect UK media but, insultingly, as "Asian men") have not yet been properly rooted out and given the exemplary punishment merited by their heinous crimes against under-age girls and women in general. The practices and beliefs of Islam are largely incompatible with liberal democracy and its traditions; when they conflict with the laws of non-Islamic countries, they should be outlawed. Specifically, sharia law should be banned in the UK - the fact that it was allowed in the first place was a sign of our politicians' tolerance but not their common sense or care for our native culture. If Moslems are to live in civilised Western societies, they should be obliged to integrate to our societal values and way of life, not expect us to adapt to their unenlightened and primitive attitudes. People from all other religious groups and cultures have settled well in the UK and have enhanced this country. I fear that Islam, unlike other religions, will, for very clear scriptural reasons, prove impervious to liberalisation, though I would be happy to be proved wrong, for the sake of future racial and religious harmony.

This is the 21st century but for many Muslims it is still the 13th century. Their religion has not been through any sort of reformation. Many Muslim men are living in the past and making women live there with them.

This was and is a disaster for Britain, that it would have allowed this travesty on its young girls. Under shariah Islam, this is allowed and shariah is the mot dangerous aspect of Islam strangling Britain. Britain is circling the drain now and I argue it is over...finished. A woman is half a man and nothing short of an object to a Muslim male. Shariah must be outlawed from Britain and never be allowed in the US. Not taught or practiced. Shariah Islam represents the gravest threat to the US safety and security.

Just a technical correction - Sha'ria is Islam. It is the authoritative interpretation of the mainstream Sunni Islam.

It is a complete manual on how to run an Islamic civilization that is 100 pct. in accordance with the Islamic doctrine (Qu'ran and the Sunna of Mohammad). It includes Muslims, and also non-Muslims.

Everything that is included in the Sha'ria can be found as the word of Allah in the Qu'Ran, or as a word of Mohammad (who's the Messenger and every Muslim should emulate him in whatever he ever said or did) recorded in the Sunna of Mohammad.

I think the so called 'good Muslims' must explain to non-Muslims at what place, or point, or stage of your book when you read that the non-believer is to be killed, and there are many references to this, at what point do you say 'hey, I wont do that, for that seems to be crazy and illegal etc.'...for if you can tell us non-Muslims that, show us how you think about these things, then maybe that red pill moment you say you have or you want us to 'trust' that you have, then that can be taught to the so-called 'bad Muslims' so that they too will not gang rape and stab and kill...you see, this is our fundamental question. At what point does a Muslim reject all the nefarious aspects of Islam? And, as important, at what point does a Muslim embrace them...see where I am going with this??? We need to get to the heart of the matter. It is the silence, the 'pretense' by the so called 'moderate' Muslims while their brothers commit unspeakable horrors on innocent people. We need to know that too..why the silence?

A good place to start is for the House of Representatives to impeach the federal Judges who are obstructing the president in implementing the travel ban. American immigration policy needs to go further that particular strains of Islam are a mortal threat to our security and even our existence. The separation of church and state is not a suicide pact. If a particular ideology is a threat to our security and existence, our president has the duty to keep such people out!

I would like to see the mainstream media carry regular stories of the massive injustices to females by 'The Peaceful Religion'. This corrupt machinery is covered by a cloak that slips occasionally to reveal what is underneath. Once that cloak is removed the rest of the world will treat Islam as it should...a toxic religion.

the cloak you speak of is wahabi money....our politicians sold us out for campaign money to buy signs and the like...while sacrificing our daughters at the altar of the predatory barbaric loins of the untermenschen islamists. some of our politicians went and touched the dirty cult, my opinion, not understanding and romanticizing about it. they made deals with the devil and the devil comes for repayment. it is not a peaceful religion, it is only peaceful once you submit to it...as I have argued many times, once any normal person reads and is exposed to the core islam, what it is all about, that islam can and will collapse on its very own weight...no sane person will follow it. notice I used terms 'normal' and 'sane'...David, you are spot on for the media is running cover for islam...look, my view is that the democrats/leftists/socialists of the USA=islam=communism.

This article is the most politically correct response to a matter that should be strongly and promptly addressed to all Muslims, "That if you live in our country, obey the laws of our society, our culture and decently, or leave the country immediately. Once such "grooming, as it is called, against one's will, the perpetrators shall be punished."

This is nonsense that the English are tolerating such acts; why are the English permitting these acts in their land? England, you must act now. Remember England's wonderful history for yourselves, ask one another is the way we want to live, do we want this for one another our children — take action now to eradicate this problem from your shores before it is too late. The religious ideology plays critical role in the grooming gangs behavior. In Islam, all non-Muslims are considered inferior to Muslims. Muslim women are inferior to men and finally non-Muslim women are the lowest entity in the eyes of Muslims. From the Islamic, grooming gangs point of view, the children they rape and exploit do not represent qualified human beings according to the teaching of the Quran. This attitude cannot be changed without abandoning Islam. The blame should lie of the host countries allowing the crime to flourish.

Just another example of the cultural enrichment multi-culturalism brings to Western Societies.

If we subscribe to the precept of sexual equality and rights, then this barbaric practice must be dealt with as harshly as the law permits and those who practice these types of sexual harassment and are not citizens by birth of a western society, must be stripped of their rights to reside in our society and returned to their country of origin without any grounds of appeal, once they have served their term of imprisonment.

Only by expelling such individuals from our societies will the message get through to these barbarians.

The rights our our women to be able to lead there lives with out harassment or assault should surpass any civil rights the offenders may claim.

It is Islam, whether religious, or cultural -- and whether, or not they could be considered pious depends on their interpretation of Islam, and how they believe they may be serving it. There are certainly imams who would encourage and applaud them for their subjugation of infidels.

The insanity of it all, that there could be a so-called religion created in the 7th century that rewards males with virgins in heaven for horrific acts on non-Muslims while on earth....that allows a man to have 4 wives, that he can beat her, stone her, rape her, that he can rape the non-Muslim, that he can commit unspeakable acts and be regarded as a hero/martyr etc...a so called religion that rewards uncivilized barbaric behaviours. And we dance around the fundamental issue which is that Islam is at war with the west...period. Islam seeks global domination supplanting of itself as the one religion (I argue not a religion) and the imposition of shariah law. No place on this earth where Islam exists and there are non-Muslims, is there peace. The silence of the the so-called moderates often smack of 'cover' and 'running interference' for the so-called 'radicals'. This must end.

This should come as no surprise to students of Islam. I believe sexual exploitation of women of all ages is normalised in Muslim life including incest. Here are the words of Khomeini, a man revered in the Shiite world.

"A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate vaginally, but sodomising the child is acceptable. If a man does penetrate and damage the child then, he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl will not count as one of his four permanent wives and the man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister... It is better for a girl to marry at such a time when she would begin menstruation at her husband's house, rather than her father's home. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven." ["Tahrirolvasyleh", fourth edition, Qom, Iran, 1990] (I think this is to avoid the risk of pregnancy with daughters; my comment added)
"During sexual intercourse, if the penis enters a woman's vagina or a man's anus, fully or only as far as the circumcision ring, both partners become impure, even if they have not reached puberty; they must consequently perform ablutions."

Yes he actually published this and it went to four editions! Especially interesting is the note on homosexuality. As all here know, 'gays' are currently executed in Iran.

There is zero hope of changing the nature of Islam and sharia, to make them compatible with superior Western civilisation. The only strategy with any chance of success, is to outlaw the religious ideology entirely.

Others have suggested strictly monitoring mosques and madrassa, even a licencing scheme has been suggested. Where moderate sermons and Westernised preachers could be imposed. However, the brainwashing associated with Islam is so powerful. That when combined with inbreeding and low IQ, it is literally impossible to reverse by remedial education. Sadly there is no preventative vaccine for Islam either. Eradication is the only logical remedy.

I make no apology for the tone of this comment or the politically incorrect language. The crimes committed by Muslims and the threat posed by Islam as a whole, leave no room for dithering and the usual limp responses. This requires urgent action to prevent civil war.

Not only are women in countries such as Germany and Sweden living in fear but their governments ensure that the terror continues with state sanctioned Islamic domination of Western life, sharia courts, halal meat and mega mosques. The Saudi Arabs finance all this and baffled Europeans are told they are hate mongers, xenophobes and islamophobes if they protest. This article should be read by all our politicians and anyone who supports immigration from Islamic countries into the West. These men come from a culture that is completely incompatible with European, Australian and North American ones. There is a problem in our schools also. Schools tend to want to minimize the cultural differences between Moslems and non-Moslems, thereby putting non-Muslim girls at risk, especially those from less than protective families. They would never read an article like this, unless they are unusually inquisitive Internet surfers. Parents have an important part to play in telling non-Moslem girls the differences in cultures and the undesirability of social contact, especially outside the adult workplace.

Muslim men are no different than the rest of us? Everything in this article suggests they are VERY different and very incompatible in western societies.

Very interesting reading as always, and I am appalled at the allowed atrocities by these people. Who is responsible for allowing it to continue?

The habits by Muslims is inhuman and barbaric.

I noted the content relating to Western "Christian" attitudes determining women's dress requirements of the past. But, did you know that THE ONLY REFERENCE in the Scriptures relating to HOW women should dress is 1 sentence only? - Merely that "A woman should not dress like the whores of the places they live in". Now, what DOES a "whore" look like? Most men from different Nationalities know generally what that means... However, having lived in New Guinea for 10 years, in that nation, there was NO identifier for such women... they ALL dressed similarly: Grass skirts, sans tops. some tribes distinguished single girls with wearing "Mini-Skirts" so as not to cause confusion or arguments. Married women would wear below-knee grass skirts. But in Fishing in the surf, one would see women in grass "Thongs" (Centuries before Europeans designed the style). NONE of these traditional dress wear was forbidden in the Bibles. And indeed, rapes in PNG were the exception rather than common... meaning we in the WEST have an attitude problem also ... And Islam has not merely an ATTITUDE problem as a SCRIPTED LAW that IMPOSES BY FORCE their own culture on every other tribe on Earth. This is where Western Culture is far more expressive and liberal, a bit like The Messiah taught us to be.

You forgot to mention that Papua New Guinea is one of the most violent places on earth and that in the townships a woman is never safe being alone no matter how she is dressed. I know as I worked at the Embassy in Port Moresby and while I was there a woman in one of the townships was raped by twenty plus sub-human males.

Yes, I bemoan the fact that a lot has changed in PNG since the early 1960's to mid 1970's. (when I was in CDW and PNGVR/PIR.) Back then RAPES were more a tribal "Payback" for stealing a tribe's younger women. But as PNG neared Independence, younger men, who watched Western Movies, got ideas into their heads that certain acts were Okay... since White People seemed to enjoy such behaviour/crimes.

The stranglehold that Islam has over officials in Britain has infiltrated every aspect of public life. Officials live in fear of being branded 'Islamophobic' and a culture of denial has taken root. A woman Member of Parliament, Anne Cryer, tried to raise the issue of grooming gangs some years ago but she was ridiculed and denigrated for 'Islamophobia'. To be fair, it was a Muslim official who finally instigated prosecutions against the offenders after the Times Newspaper, and a heroic journalist, Andrew Norfolk, exposed the systemic abuse of young white, and some Sikh girls, by Muslim gangs.

Any protest by any Muslim, or Muslim group is treated with the utmost seriousness by the police while appalling outrages by Muslims are tolerated. Tommy Robinson, a journalist who is a fierce critic of Islamism, fell foul of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) an extremist organisation that masquerades as moderate. Tommy's offence? He met some soldiers at a motorway service station and had some photographs taken with them. The MCB made a formal protest. The soldiers were disciplined, their phones confiscated; they were banned from using Facebook and were threatened with dismissal from the Army. Within hours, a petition to the Chief of the Defence Staff, protesting against this draconian action received 180,000 signatures within a few hours. The British are amongst the most phlegmatic people on earth, but we have had enough of the flagrant breaking of the law by Muslims, and the constant undercurrent of their threats of violence if their whims are not obeyed. The worm is turning.

Knowing all this about the beliefs of some Muslims, why do the European leaders not insist that our Western laws are adhered to whenever any Muslim is given a safe place in any of their towns and cities? Why isn't the law of the land made absolutely clear? Some of these people have been given passports and citizenship and then allowed to go anywhere they like in Europe. What is the problem with politicians, why are they so afraid to make the newcomers fully aware of our laws? What is acceptable and what isn't. Why do they fear Muslims, why don't they speak up and ultimately enforce Western laws? It's a pathetic stance taken, especially when at the same time the various governments are putting all their efforts into harassing those groups who oppose Islam and all it stands for. If it comes down to it, the backlash from the European people will be far worse than it will be from the Muslim invaders and the rapists hiding among the numerous communities!

Excellent description of the Muslim approach from inside out, and what motivates grooming gangs.
Several issues appear including:
1. Education of all youth and also adults who are not completely aware of the actual goings-on, particularly behind closed doors.
2. The need to develop and strong identity which contradicts this cultus which has developed from Sharia and centuries of Muslim saturation that now exists in various countries.
3. A decision among various academics that intelligent discussion by carried out while there is time so that there is a strong bulwark of defence to preserve all freedom of speech in tertiary bodies that allows for serious criticism of intrusions into the culture which is targeted by Islam, and in particular brotherhood.
4. An appreciation of the use of finances ($2 trillion in Sharia-compliant banks), which has one aim: establishment of a theocracy over and above all democracies.
5. An understanding of the political processes that disenfranchise the Judeo-Christian culture in favour of Islam. A simple example of this is in the decision by Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to accept 12,000 Muslims in lieu of 12,000 Christians.

Grooming gangs which are not curbed must increase, not decrease. An uneducated public, lacking political cohesion, lacking a sense of national identity stands every chance of losing out.

Malcolm Turnbull's decision was made without any community consultation and done against the wishes of the majority of Australians.
