One view:
MK Gandhi was also a great appeaser of the century
to the very misfortune of our great country.

He embraces the assassin of Swami Shradhanand
and brands me as his brother.

He was against the Shudhi movement of Arya Samaj
and yet associates with Muslims like Ali Brothers,
who paid back his services by branding him a worthless
Kaffir lower than even a Muslim culprit.

He was not at all far sighted and extremely quiet when
Iqbal spat at his face and had a vole face.

According to his own show piece Maulana Azad, it was
he, who pampered Jinna and bestowed upon him the
title QUAID e AZAM.

The list further goes on.....

Gandhi was a disputed person. Had he not come to India from South Africa, there would not have been a national awakening but revolutionary awakening with Soviet style revolution might have taken over and that was exactly the worry and anxiety of British who were not more than one lac controlling India at that time. British ruled and exploited India till naked only with the help of Indians. Gandhi did not strike when Brits were most vulnerable that is during two great wars on moral grounds.
On 1914 onwards Soviet intervention in India with active support of Gadar Party and revolutionaries of which Shaheed Bhagat Singh was part would have taken over. All these revolutionaries were traced and executed by British without a trace including the Prime Minister of shadow cabinet. Here Gandhi was instrumental for diversion of minds of masses and was brought in as pied piper to divert the flock to no where.
Gandhi Ji's hartals, agitations, Khiladat Angolan, mass civil disobedience movement, quit India movement did arouse nationalist sentiments but each was halted and abandoned midway.
Had Gandhi given a call or fixed the target of free India date even before 1924 or any time thereafter too, India would have become independent within no time as the total number of British in India were less than couple of lacs a manageable count. Gandhi turned out to be thorn to British but Neta Ji was fighting for freedom the way freedom should have been achieved.

YET ANOTHER VIEW;

GANDHI AND BOSE

I recall a day, early 1948, when I was studying at Mahendra College Patiala. That was soon after "bloody" Partition and we all, young and old, frequently talked about Partition.

One day I asked my professor of history, “Sir, what is the difference between Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose?”

The Professor (I learnt later that he had migrated from Lahore the previous year) replied candidly,

“Gandhi was the stooge of the British who crawled before Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the leader of Indian Muslims, and quietly (without serious protest or going on fast even for two days when our Bharat was threatened with “mutilation”) conceded Pakistan, whereas Netaji raised the “Azad Hind Fauj” (Indian National Army) to FIGHT for Independence.

“Gandhi was not a brave patriot but an opportunist coward who instantly betrayed his “Akhand” Bharat instead of charging Jinnah of High Treason while Netaji had even the Muslims in his Army like General Shah Nawaz Khan, who were bravely fighting for AKHAND BHARAT (united India). Netaji's Bharat would have been unscathed with Khyber on one side and Chittagong on the other.

“Now you know the difference between the two men!” said the Professor.

“Yes Sir,” I replied, “one was a goat, the other a lion! I shall never forget it.”
