DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENTS DO NOT GO FOR GUNS
Dear Shri Narendra Modi,
The following is submitted with utmost respect.
Punjab has great reservoir of warriors and fighters in Bharat. It was Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s army that did the impossible, that is, to capture Peshawar and Khyber Pass that remained the border post of our country till August 15, 1947.
Punjab produced Gurus, and their followers, who refused to convert to alien Islam, and accepted martyrdom. That PUNJAB was betrayed by our top leaders when they surrendered West Punjab unconditionally in 1947.
It was misfortune of Punjab that no nationalist Party like BJP was in a position until 2014 to recover our sacred Motherland, Bharat, from the “Party of Partition” and the Dynasty that “captured” Partitioned India immediately as soon as the British rulers left.
Pro Pakistan “All-India Congress Party” identified the Sikhs as the defensive backbone of Hindusthan and took the strategic decision to eliminate the Sikhs with a view to complete Phase 2** of their Grand Design for Bharat by weakening the country’s defence potential along her border.
It is most unfortunate that the PEOPLE of East Punjab did not get the kind of government they deserve. Instead, the governments of EAST Punjab have been so incompetent that drug culture, rampant corruption and crime alienated the people who elected the very Party that wishes to retard progress & development, but create chaos and lawlessness in the State.
We only wish that BJP, the popular Party of people, had identified the “enemy” in Bharat’s most sensitive State that borders on Pakistan, and then vigorously campaigned to come to power again.
To see EAST Punjab under Congress Party and (Nehru) Dynasty, alarm bells should have been ringing at the highest level in Bharat.
Congress Party is pro Islamic. It is “Party of Separation and Partition”. We did not have to wait for them to inflict more damage or disaster upon Bharat. We had to eliminate them from Bharat’s political scene decades ago.
Having said that, we now turn to the Sikhs living in East Punjab. It is no secret that bad administration, corruption, lawlessness, drug culture and the army attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib in June 1984 shocked and hurt all the Sikhs, and alienated many.
Sir, the irony is that this alienation was neither noticed by the government at Centre nor any action taken to bring home to the Sikhs that a new era had begun in 2014 with the elimination of Congress Party and (Nehru) Dynasty, and the government of Bharat was now in the hands of Hindus for the first time since 1192 AD.”
Deep impression that “the Government is corrupt and callous, and acts like the enemy of people for self preservation” lingers on for a while. It had to be realized at the highest level and publicity generated to eliminate such impression.
We would end with an appeal to you to rescue East Punjab from the Party that promptly surrendered Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi to the enemy in 1947, that resulted in the massacres and UPROOTING of millions of Sikhs for no fault of theirs. In most cases those wounds (of Partition) are still fresh.
Diplomatic missions abroad ought to take the INITIATIVE to be in touch with the dissident Sikhs to remind them of the need to develop East Punjab, provide EDUCATION, create JOBS and hold seminars to discuss their grievances. And if genuine, these grievances should be addressed with honesty and resolved with courage. The idea to PUNISH, or SHOOT, comes only where the governments are corrupt and do not “relate” to their citizens at home and abroad.
Diplomats abroad are not to make lists of dissidents to lock them up if they come to Bharat, but to meet them, invite them for discussions, FIND OUT THEIR GRIEVANCES, or why they want Khalistan and then GIVE ANSWERS or seriously attend to their complaints and remove the causes of dissatisfaction or frustration.
It will soon be seen that the dissident elements become most loyal citizens of Bharat when they come home. That is the challenge for your diplomatic corps abroad.
For an ancient civilization like Bharat, with wisdom and tolerance ingrained in our national character, the rulers are supposed to be like parents dealing with badly behaving rebellious children. No parent goes for gun or jail!
